ASH HOPPER

* To monitor the ash and bilge sumps. * To drain the ash and bilge sumps as per procedure. * To operates the AWR and ash hopper isolating valves. * To operate the sluice pump suction and discharge isolating valves. * To operate the ash sump suction and discharge isolating valves. * To operate the lifting liner to select the crusher in service. * To do ashing on the ash hoppers as per procedure. * To flush the ash line as per procedure. * To report the defects to the Ash Plant Operator.

DUST HOPPERS

* To monitor the ash and bilge sumps. * To drain the ash and bilge sumps as per procedure. * To operates the AWR and dust hopper isolating valves. * To operate the sluice pump suction and discharge isolating valves. * To operate the ash sump suction and discharge isolating valves. * To do dusting on the dust hoppers as per procedure. * To flush the ash line as per procedure. * To report the defects to the Ash Plant Operator.

DUST HOPPERS (SILO)

* To monitor the ash and bilge sumps. * To monitor the airlift vessel sump. * To drain the ash and bilge sumps as per procedure. * To drain the airlift vessels sump as per procedure. * To operates the AWR and dust hopper isolating valves. * To operate the sluice pump suction and discharge isolating valves. * To operate the ash sump suction and discharge isolating valves. * To agitate the dust hoppers to make sure that are empty. * To do dusting on the silo as per procedure. * To flush the ash line as per procedure. * To report the defects to the Ash Plant Operator.

  1. Make sure you wear full PPE and sign the risk assessment
  2. Check oil level, V belts in tacke, safety guards and electrical cable in place for ash pumps, sluice pumps and ash cruisers.
  3. Make sure the sluice pump suction and discharge isolation valves are open.
  4. Open AWR and start sluice pump, ash crusher and ash pump.
  5. Make sure the sluice way is clean and open the sluice way nozzles
  1. Make sure that ash crusher, sluice pump and ash pump is running.
  2. Check the ash hopper level to start with the one that is full and make sure the bilge sump is clean.
  3. Notify the unit control that ashing is starting.
  4. Ash using the three way valve to open the inner door slowly. Continue to other hoppers until finish ashing all 4 hoppers.
  5. Make sure u flash and sluice way is clean and notify the unit control that ashing is finishe, and fill the boiler sealing trough with water 
  1. Make sure that ash crusher, sluice pump and ash pump is running.
  2. Start with the front dust hoppers and make sure the bilge sump is clean.
  3. Notify the unit control that dusting is starting.
  4. Dusting using the hydrovacs and open two on the left and two on the right unit all the dust hoppers are empty.
  5. Make sure u flash and sluice way is clean with the screen and notify the unit control that dusting is finished
  1. Make sure that ash crusher, sluice pump and ash pump is running.
  2. Close the inner door and open jet pulsion to flush the mill reject.
  3. Then check the on the inspection door if the are reject if so open the outer doors and scrap the reject out.
  4. Then close the out door and jet plusion then open the inner door
